What does Cynophobia Support entail?

  • Initial assessment to understand your experiences, fears and goals.

  • A personalised plan designed around your individual needs and confidence level.

  • Access to my Ambassador Dog Programme, giving you the opportunity to work with a large pool of carefully selected dogs from the local community. A wide variety of dogs are available, including different breeds, shapes, sizes, ages and personalities, allowing introductions to be carefully matched to the individual and progressed at the right time.

  • Working with calm, suitable dogs that are comfortable and experienced around people who may lack confidence.

  • Education about dog behaviour, communication and body language. Including guided body language commentary when working our ambassador dog team, where you will learn how dogs communicate, what different behaviours mean and how to recognise when a dog is comfortable, relaxed or needs space.

  • Practical guidance throughout the sessions so you're not only understand what the dog is doing it and why the dog is doing it but also what you should be doing yourself. 

  • Gradual, controlled exposure at a pace that feels comfortable, helping you build confidence without being overwhelmed.

  • Real-world scenarios, including how to respond when meeting dogs in everyday situations.

  • WhatsApp support throughout your journey so you can ask me questions as you think of them.
