…The Kind Way.

Does this Sound Like You?

Dog to dog interaction - Body Language
  • Do you feel like your dog is showing aggression?

  • Or your dog has actually bitten a person or dog in or out the house, yourself, family member or a stranger?

  • Has your dog attacked dogs or had dog fights?

  • Does your dog bark, lunge, growl, snap, become unpredictable, hide, run, cower, jump in the air, jump in dog’s faces, box with their paws, bite the lead?

  • Do you need a family dog introduced to another family dog?

  • Do you need a family meeting to get everyone on the same page with how they handle the dog?

  • Do you dream of the day when you can have a relaxed walk with your beloved dog? Have visitors over without worrying? Where they can walk with other dogs or people, enjoy their walk and have an improved quality of life?

  • Would you like to know what your dog’s body language means, what to do and when to do it, understand your dog’s behaviours and limits, feel proud of your dog, know how to show your dog in their best light, feel like you have a training connection with your dog.

If you experience some of the above, the ‘Walk in the Park’ reactive or aggressive dog package might be for you.

Two dog owners walking in the park

Please Note

This covers aggression to dogs or people.

Further, your dog doesn’t need to be fully reactive or aggressive to come on board. It covers early stages of aggression (in fact this is the most optimal time to deal with it), manners, impoliteness, over excitement and introduction of friends and family dogs to each other.

I will advise you and suggest a service structure accordingly.

FAQs

Paul Lasky with Golden Retriever - 1-1 Behaviour consultation
  • I have a wealth of experience with very stressed and reactive dogs in kennels. Including, hundreds of dog introductions where I needed to introduce dogs quickly and get them sharing a kennel. This also included dogs with phobias and dogs who were reactive to people.

I have become very at-home working with these behaviours so it was a natural choice to specialise in. Since then, I have over time honed the walk in the park service into one of the most comprehensive and thoughtful packages on the market.

  • Yes, this plan is for dogs, people, vehicles or anything else. The tools just need to be applied to your dog and their triggers.

  • This service is a very much a coaching service. I will give you all the tools you need, but you will also need to do the training outside of our sessions with your dog consistently to see the results.

  • As mentioned above, my aim is to have you self-sufficient as quickly as possible. My brand values are honesty and a genuine desire to help.

However, reasons for a follow up session include: your dog was very worried so more sessions were needed to have them relaxed enough to train, your behaviour plan had multiple issues to work on, your plan included very technical training that requires a lot of practice and coaching, you wanted a review a few months later, you like 121 format and would like to continue, some clients like a once a month check in session.
